Are you facing a crisis situation?

-Challenging reactions are not uncommon, and they usually resolve well. Crisis situations can be a source of growth. As much as possible, trust yourself.

-Be accompanied by someone you trust who can provide a safe space, deal with your outside world needs and to whom you can share what is going on.

-Keep a balanced schedule: rest, sleep enough hours, eat enough and drink water.

-Use your body: Intense exercise can be helpful to decrease anxiety. 15 minutes twice a week can be of great help.

-Take care of yourself: Be in contact with nature, take walks, massages, baths, write, draw.

– Seek professional help if it gets too intense.

Try and stay calm, help is on the way!

Do you organize ayahuasca sessions? Do you do ibogaine treatments?

No, we do not organize any kind of sessions with ethnobotanical tools nor do we provide treatments.

At ICEERS we work to impart quality scientific information about ethnobotanical tools such as ayahuasca and iboga. We also work towards the integration of these tools as therapeutic elements in our contemporary society through scientific research and promoting professional and ethical practices. Additionally, we offer support to those who need information, guidance or help during the integration process due to complicated reactions following the use of ayahuasca or iboga.

On our website you will find useful information whether you are interested in taking ayahuasca or iboga yourself, you want to learn more about the science of these plants, or if you are supporting a friend or family member who wants to use these tools.

Can you recommend any person or facility with whom I can be assured a safe and optimal experience?

The main focus of our support services is to provide objective information about ayahuasca, iboga and other ethnobotanical tools so you can make your own decisions. ICEERS does not organize sessions with any ethnobotanical tools nor do we recommend that people use these tools.

There are hundreds of people and centers offering ayahuasca/ iboga sessions and ceremonies and it is impossible to know if they do it in a professional and ethical manner. Occasionally centers that have received good references in the past start receiving criticism due to a decline in the quality of services they offer. Similarly, there may be centers that offer excellent services that we are not aware of yet. Therefore, we do not give recommendations for any person, center or clinic that offers these services.
